We are currently going through an exciting period of change and development and are seeking new trustees to help us realise our future vision.

Chair of the Board of Trustees.
The Chair is required to ensure the Board of Trustees functions at its best in the development of our strategic aims. This is a key role, as the chair is expected to provide leadership, including acting as an ambassador for the organisation, which may include representing the organisation externally, speaking publicly on its behalf and attending public functions.
The Treasurer will have responsibility for overseeing the charity’s financial strategy, financial management, planning, systems and controls to ensure that the Charity is in a good position to deliver on its objectives. Provide regular updates to the Board, about the financial health of the organisation, as well as managing risks and risk mitigation.
Fundraising and Communications Trustee
The Fundraising and Communications Trustee will ensure that there is the right breadth and depth of fundraising and communications skills within the organisation with access to appropriate networks, in order that the charity is in the best possible position to develop and deliver high quality fundraising, marketing and communication strategies.
Board roles are not remunerated, although reasonable travel expenses incurred during work on behalf of the charity will be paid. A commitment of typically 6 days a year is required, although this may vary depending on business needs. This includes, meetings, preparation and discussion.
